Preah Palilay is the small ruins which has the court septentrional. It has consisted of the tower hall and the two-storied gate which is on the east side. The tower hall like the smokestack has done high thin unique shape. There does not remain large-thing of what was to be the pride of the Buddhist monks of Tep Pranam.

One found indeed many sculptures reporting the life of the Buddha or the Buddhist scenes. Some of the bas-reliefs are still visible among the many stones which are piled up in the neighborhoods of this tower where one wonders whether are the trees which retain it or which make it fall. The place is quiet and shaded and is appropriate perfectly to make a small halt before taking again the visit of Angkor Thom.
